Royal Belgian Ski & Snowboard Federation
Belgium’s national federation for ski and snowboarding. It coordinates the three community leagues—Sneeuwsport Vlaanderen, the Fédération Francophone Belge de Ski (FFBS), and the Ostbelgischer Ski- und Wintersportverband (OSWV)—and maintains contacts with FIS and the Belgian Olympic and Interfederal Committee (BOIC). Official ski and snowboard instructor training is run by the regional federations together with the Flemish Trainers School (Vlaamse Trainersschool) and Adeps; that programme is the government-recognized route in Belgium. The federation works with the Belgian Ski Instructors Association (BSIA), which is Belgium’s ISIA-member body for professional instructors. Headquarters: Boomgaardstraat 22/27, 2600 Antwerp. Contact: info@ski.be.
