The highest Austrian ski instructor qualification, widely regarded as one of the toughest in the world. Requires passing the CTT (Common Training Test, similar to Eurotest). Qualifies instructors to teach all levels internationally and train other instructors.

Diplom-/Staatlicher Skilehrer

Enrolment: Austrian ski-instructor training is organised through regional associations (Landesverbände) under ÖSSV; contact your regional provider for dates, fees, German-language requirements, and entry criteria. Austrian state-certified ski instructor (Diplomskilehrer): national ski-technical modules organised by ÖSSV with theory and commission examination components through the Bundessportakademie Innsbruck. Published semester calendars list alpine course blocks, CTT security test, and D-Trainer segments.
