Enrolment: CSIA membership in good standing; all programmes register through https://www.snowpro.com/en/programs/search-and-register (fees vary by region/session). Level 1 minimum age 14 on day one per CSIA FAQ. Highest certification: Level 4 Skier Development (4 days), Teacher Development (4 days), then a three-day exam. CSIA recommends extensive experience before attempting Level 4.

- Highest CSIA qualification — opens examiner and national trainer roles
Canadian citizens and permanent residents: no restrictions. Foreign nationals require work visa.
- Cantonal work permit required
EU/EEA nationals: work permit via employer. Non-EU/EEA nationals: quota-based work permit required.
- Must apply for 'carte professionnelle' via the DRJSCS
- CSIA Level 4 (ISIA Card) provides strongest equivalency case
EU/EEA nationals: most straightforward path. Non-EU nationals: require valid work visa.
