United Kingdom

No work permit required for UK nationals in UK.

Switzerland
  • Cantonal work permit required

EU/EEA passport holders: work permit straightforward. Non-EU/EEA nationals: quota-based work permit required.

France
  • Must apply for 'carte professionnelle' via the DRJSCS
  • ISIA Card (Level 4) provides strongest equivalency case

EU/EEA nationals: most straightforward path. Non-EU nationals: require valid work visa.

Austria
  • Must apply for recognition under EU Directive 2005/36/EC
  • Requirements vary by Bundesland
